Runes can be equipped on your Tower to boost their stats and help you in your fight against corrupted beasts.
Runes can increase the following:
- Damage
- Range
- Attack Speed
- Pierce Dodge
- Critical
- Pierce Armor
- Extra Target
Runes equipped to a tower type are applied to all levels of that tower. A Rune’s Star value determines its efficiency which can be increased with certain rewards.
You can also level up your Runes using Rune Dust. You can obtain Dust primarily by playing the Campaign.
If you upgrade a Tower, the Runes remain equipped, although the stat boosts will scale according to the new Tower level.
