❓ Why are you resetting progress?

Update 1.8 introduced more issues than we can responsibly fix on top of existing foundations. A full reset means a cleaner, more stable game - for everyone, now and going forward. It was a hard call, but we believe it's the right one.

❓ Who does this affect?

This reset applies to players who had installed Twilight Towers before April 17th, 2026. If you're new to Fernhollow since 1.8, your progress is unaffected.

❓ Will I lose everything?

Your progress will be reset, but your player ID will remain the same and more importantly: you won't be left empty-handed - see below.

❓ What am I getting in return?

Every legacy player will receive will receive a compensation package consisting of:

  • 1,500 Gems
  • 96 Gems per dollar spent
  • 3 Gems per Wave completed

❓ When will the reset happen?

Due to unforseen circumstances following the release of 1.11, the team is currently focusing on their attention on fixing some issues within the game. Because of this, the reset is now reschedule for Tuesday May 19th, 2026.

The reset is scheduled for May 15th, 2026.

❓ What should I expect during the reset?

Upon the account reset, please be aware of the following:

  • Temporary Suspension: Your account will be put on a temporary suspension while we process the data. Don’t worry, you’re not in trouble! This will be automatically removed as soon as the reset is complete.
  • Player ID: Your account ID will remain exactly the same.
  • Compensation: you will receive the compensation package mentionned above

We don't intend to perform another account reset. This reset is specifically designed to get the game onto solid ground so we don't find ourselves here again
